General information on how to upload a COUNTER report manually

Although Érudit offers a SUSHI service, they only provide subview reports (e.g., TR_J1, PR_P1). These reports are filtered versions of master reports and, according to the COUNTER Metrics Code of Practice, should not be provided via SUSHI.

To maintain data integrity, CELUS does not harvest subview reports through SUSHI. However, you can still manually download these reports from Erudit and upload them into CELUS if needed.

We strongly encourage our users to advocate for Erudit to become fully COUNTER compliant. By providing proper master reports (e.g., TR, DR, PR), they can eliminate this issue and align with best practices.

Please ensure the report matches the sample exactly, including the following details:

  • The data must be arranged in the same columns and rows as in the sample.
  • The header must be identical to the one in the sample.
  • All formatting, spacing, and alignment must be consistent with the sample.

This is what the reports should look like:

1. TR_J1:

2. TR_J3:
